The REOLAB regulated power supply is a component of an AC high-voltage source, which can be used for dielectric tests on high-voltage components – in accordance with IEC and ANSI standards. It can be used to test transformers, switchgear, bushings, insulators, connectors or motors, among others.

In this special project, the mobile system should also be able to be operated outdoors under fair weather conditions. In the event of rain, however, the system cannot be switched off immediately, or it simply takes time for the test object to discharge. Therefore, the degree of protection of this version was significantly increased compared to the standard version in order to meet the higher demands.
