Another practical example of REO components in a modern e-mobility solution is the use of dV/dt filter chokes upstream of air conditioning compressor units on electric buses. The REO CNW M 833/16 filter choke reliably reduces voltage rise-times to acceptable levels and, in doing so, protects other electrical components on-board, such as the sensitive compressors used on electric buses. It also helps to reduce EMC interference at the same time. This results in a longer life cycle and reduced heating of the compressor motor.
