Both the individual components, such as chokes or resistors, and complete electrical units, such as control cabinets, can also be operated in compact designs thanks to water-cooling in situations where air-cooling would quickly reach its limits. Water-cooling not only enables optimum temperature behaviour of the components even under a full load, but also improves the performance capability and prolongs the service life of the components.
