All the best for 30 years of REO Kyritz!

›› 30 years of REO Kyritz!

Jennifer Baatz, site manager at REO Kyritz

We congratulate our colleagues on the 30th anniversary of the foundation of the REO branch in Kyritz. The founding of the branch in 1991 marked the beginning of a new chapter in REO’s history. REO Kyritz started to produce ring resistors in the buildings of the former EAB. With a handful of employees, but always with heart and a special connection to the location. Today, with more than 90 employees, the site in Kyritz forms an important building block within the REO family. For example, components for wind turbines or water-cooled resistors for e-mobility are manufactured. The view into the future is also evident directly next to the main building, where the company’s own wind turbine produces enough energy for the in-house e-charging stations.

Jennifer Baatz, site manager at REO Kyritz, sums up: “It has now been 30 years since an idea became reality and we started production at this special site. We have always moved with the times and have been able to set important impulses in production quality, from robotics to high edge processing.” Baatz adds with a smile: “After 30 years, we have not only been able to expand our workforce to over 90 employees in the process, but also to win a fish or two in the factory’s own pond.”

We wish REO Kyritz all the best for the next 30 years as well!
